Our goats

For city children in particular, it is a great aha experience to come into contact with animals they may only know from pictures or books during their vacations in the countryside. This is an exciting and valuable experience. How does the fur of a goat feel, is it shaggy or soft? What do goats smell like? What does it sound like when they bleat? And what do goats love to eat – grasses and herbs, young shoots of shrubs and trees. Goats live from 15 to 18 years.
In our family hotel your children can discover the animals and country life up close. And are guaranteed to have fun doing so.

Feeding goats as part of our childcare program

As part of the childcare program, we regularly offer goat feeding. Feeding or even petting the goats is always done under supervision. We make sure that your children learn the right way to handle the animals, which they may only know from books so far. Not only we humans sometimes have a mind of our own: goats also have their moods, which you cannot always anticipate. To ensure that nothing happens to your children, they are only allowed into the goat and donkey enclosure with the caretakers.
