So that you can thoroughly relax, we offer an all-round carefree childcare program at the Friedrichshof family hotel. While you relax by the pool or in the sauna, your kids will be in good hands with our friendly childcare staff. Our childcare team consists of experienced staff with whom your children will have a lot of fun. Whether it’s guided horseback riding outside on the paddock, feeding the rabbits in “Hasenhausen” or on rainy days indoors in the Kids Club or Tollhouse – a good mood and exuberant atmosphere at your children’s hotel in Bavaria will be guaranteed !

This is how your vacation with child in Bavaria becomes an all-round happy experience: at the Friedrichshof we have furnished all hotel rooms and family apartments especially for families with babies and children. You don’t have to do without anything during your vacation: Diaper-changing facilities, a diaper bucket and a baby travel crib are standard features of many rooms and apartments at the Friedrichshof. You can additionally rent many furnishings and baby equipment from the Friedrichshof – according to your individual needs and without extra costs.

Das prasselt, funkelt und leuchtet! Ein Lagerfeuer zieht Groß und Klein mit seiner besonderen Magie in den Bann. An warmen Sommerabenden organisieren wir ein großes Lagerfeuer, zu dem alle Familien herzlich eingeladen sind.

Einmal pro Woche (meist samstags) bieten wir geführtes Reiten auf unseren Ponys und Haflingern kostenlos im Rahmen der Kinderbetreuung an. Von Montag bis Freitag ist geführtes Ponyreiten vormittags jederzeit dazu buchbar. Für die Kids ist das ein Riesen-Spaß. Egal ob Ihr Kind noch Anfänger ist oder schon Erfahrung im Reiten hat – hier kann jeder mitmachen. Wir zeigen den Kleinen, wie sie richtig auf das Pferd aufsteigen, gut im Sattel sitzen – und schon geht es los: entweder über unsere Pferdekoppel oder über die Feld- und Waldwege in der Umgebung des Friedrichshofs.

Uns ist sehr wichtig, dass die Kinder einen tiergerechten, achtsamen und angstfreien Umgang mit dem Lebewesen Pferd lernen. Deshalb erklären wir ihnen alles, was man über Pferde wissen sollte. Die Kinder können unsere Ponys und Haflinger selber striegeln und putzen und kommen so mit den Tieren in Berührung. Für die ganz Eifrigen organisieren wir immer mal wieder Pony-Putzwettbewerbe.

In the Kids Club your little ones will not be bored even on bad weather days. We always have plenty of painting, crafting and creative materials in stock: Drawing paper, cardboard, crayons, wax crayons, chalk, watercolors and much more. Together we create pictures or something artistic on a certain theme or let the children realize their very own ideas.

Friedrichshof Kids Club

Our hotel with childcare offers a diverse play program for the kids in any weather. The family and children’s hotel Friedrichshof is perfectly tailored to the needs of children with its large recreational area and diverse indoor play facilities. In the Kids Club, the little ones can play in the wooden play kitchen, store in the walk-in store, read on the cuddly sofa or do handicrafts at the large creative table.
The Kids Club is located in a large, bright and friendly room with a fantastic view of the beautiful green Trubach Valley, which makes you want to explore nature. Whenever the weather will allow it, we go outside with the children. There we explore the forest and nature with your little ones and get to know the different animals of the Friedrichshof. Highlights include feeding the rabbits, goats and donkeys as well as our creative lessons. Lots of fun and unforgettable moments for the whole family are also brought by our torchlight hikes and campfire evenings!
